As he boards the train, he notices the Metaverse Navigator appear on his phone and the owl from before begins speaking to him. As the protagonist taps the app on his phone, he enters the Metaverse and the owl introduces himself as Lufel. After a scuffle with Shadows, the protagonist awakens his persona and the two fight their way out of Mementos.
The game also features multiple characters that Wonder can interact with in Tokyo using the "Confidant" system.[4] Compared to the main series, it was heavily reworked: the number of ranks has increased, but not every rank results in unique dialogue conversations.
Viewing this event as the catalyst for his professional career and personal life falling apart, he now terrorizes women by shoving them at train stations and holds a venomous grudge against Motoha, willing to destroy her life through any means necessary.
There are two different stories happening around the same time, the main story and CrossFates. The main story entails the protagonist, Lufel and their team of Phantom Thieves exploring the Metaverse for a singular goal, figuring out what is causing everyone to lose their desires.

Currently, mission 3 is the longest main story mission content due to had two different major targets within one shared Palace.
Much of the gameplay takes direct reference from Persona 5, where the protagonist will live a dual life between spending time in the real world, as well as roaming and fighting in the Metaverse. The game does not follow a calendar system; the protagonist's free time in the city is only limited by a special currency taking the form of hourglasses.
There are current development plans to release in other regions such as North America with localization. This release is to be followed by console releases of the game as well, with PC and phones remaining the primary platforms.
After the scene ends, it is revealed that it was just a nightmare that the protagonist had. After waking up from the dream, he makes his way to school and a mysterious owl proceeds to follow him.
Despite this, however, the calendar does appear in the game, albeit superficially and seemingly only used to track the days playing the game.[48] This also means there are no deadlines in this game and the protagonist can take as long as necessary to clear story missions.

During class, the protagonist struggles to stay awake and drifts off. Once he awakens, he finds himself within the Velvet Room, and is welcomed in by Igor and Merope.
The characters from Persona 3 Reload are a special case. They are actual Persona users but have an unknown connection to the protagonist's cognition and appear as cognitions.
